The contract for development of promotional material in tourism is divided into 13 lots. The first includes printing of 640 thousand leaflets for individual tourist areas in the country and is worth BGN448 thousand. The second is for 173 thousand leaflets describing different types of tourism, and a budget of BGN121.1 thousand. The next lot is for the development of Information Guide Welcome to Bulgaria for BGN150 thousand. There are also to be produced 228 thousand posters (for about BGN342 thousand ), 385 thousand flyers (for about BGN192.5 thousand ), 212 thousand cards (for BGN116.6 thousand ), 15 thousand stickers (for BGN5250) and over 60 thousand paper bags (for BGN84.7 thousand ). In order includes travel 50 thousand 24 thousand cards and guidebook, which are provided respectively 35 thousand and 288 thousand.
According to the ranking, which is now appealed to the Commission for Protection of Competition and the Supreme Administrative Court, the first in nine of the lots is Print Euro United. It is managed by Diana Yordanova Mincheva, and the owners Euro RSCG Sofia (70% of the shares) and Book Boutique. The first company is headed by Martin Danovski and the sole owner is Wolfen Bulgaria. Managers of Book Boutique are Atanas and Vanina Paskalev who jointly hold 50 percent of the capital of the company. The rest are owned by Malveks Group, whose owner is Mariana Dimitrova. It should be noted that none of these companies has ever won a public tender organised by the state.
The remaining four positions are split equally between well known players such as Mag Advertising and Lambadzhiev Standard. They were among the winners of the tender for promotional material for 2010 and absorbed nearly BGN2.5 million . These companies, along with several candidates who dropped out, are also the complainants against the results of the current tender.
