The International Police Association (IPA) awarded the Honorary Consul of Moldova Eng. Dr. Vesselin Chipev with the highest order Madara Rider for his long-term support of the activity of the Association and special merit. The order was handed by the President of the IPA Bulgarian Section Ognyan Bogoev.

In 2024 the IPA Bulgarian Section celebrates 30 years since becoming a full member of the international police family on 10th of June, 1994.
Anniversary celebrations will be held from 11 till 14 June 2024 in the Rose Valley.
The International Police Association (IPA) was founded on January 1, 1950, in the United Kingdom. Its founder is considered to be the Lincolnshire Police officer Arthur Troop (1914-2000). Members of the organization are police officers – active, retired and left, no matter rank, position, official position, gender, race, mother language or religion. The International Police Association has about 360,000 members from almost 100 countries in 6 continents (Europe, Asia, South and North America, Africa and Australia), 66 from which had created their own national sections.
