The Minister of Interior awarded the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova with special distinction

The Minister of Interior, Atanas Ilkov, awarded the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Bulgaria, Eng. Dr. Vesselin Chipev with a Service Appreciation Award Plaque of the Ministry of Interior.

During the award ceremony, the reasons for honouring the diplomatic representative were announced:

“For significant contribution and merits in the development of Bulgarian-Moldovan interstate relations of friendship, economic, and cultural cooperation;

For establishing and strengthening the ties of friendship between the police forces of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova and promoting cooperation in social, cultural, and professional fields;

For popularizing the history and elevating the prestige of Bulgarian Parachutists in the Republic of Moldova and improving the public image of the Union of Bulgarian Parachutists;

For contribution to the good relations between the special forces of the Ministry of Interior and the Bulgarian Army;

For demonstrated generosity, kindness, and humanity.

And for the voluntary and unconditional sponsorship of the events from the annual programs of the International Police Association and the Union of Bulgarian Parachutists and as a member of the International Police Association – the largest police association in the world.“
